Ruusuniemi is a versatile event-space which can be used for many different occasions, from high-level meetings to big parties and hybrid events.
The premises include a large dining area, a comfortable lounge with a big fireplace, a sauna and pool area, as well as a large terrace and yard with a stunning sea view. The event-spaces can be transformed to suit different purposes to facilitate either bigger and smaller groups.
Up to 100 people can dine at Ruusuniemi simultaneously, of whom 70 fit in the ballroom. The workspace is well-suited for seminars up to 55 people, but it also works well in more relaxed meetings of about 30 people. For larger conferences, we are able to make use of the building’s other spaces.
BALLROOM
The ballroom can seat up to 70 people. The space is also well-suited to host larger conferences.
WORKSPACE
The workspace is perfect for more relaxed planning work in meetings of up to 30 people. By altering the chair and table setup and making use of the building’s other spaces, meetings can facilitate up to 55 people.
SAUNA AND POOL AREA
The classy sauna and pool follow in the spirit of the 70s, and invite you to relax with soft steam and a refreshing swim. Our sauna and pool area is fully equipped, from high-quality soaps and shampoos to towels.

Ruusuniemi is located at the tip of the peninsula in Vuosaari, Helsinki, about a 20 minute drive from the city center or an hour by boat from Kauppatori. There are plenty of parking spaces near the building, as well as our own wharf for those arriving by boat.
